This is the first shot in a timelapse we will use for a music video for 21st Sentry. It still needs some white balancing, but I’m really enjoying creating these timelapses. It’s only a few seconds long, but you get enough of the mood for the video. We shot 1 second exposures every two seconds, so with about 500 shots we get about 17 seconds of video. The light changes fast enough at this time of night that it is not a problem. Always a problem with highlights in the videos though, if there is an HDR for video, I would love to know about! Crunching each frame as an HDR might be problematic as well, but who says a mask or a graduated neutral density filter can’t work?
